Tet in a nutshell

There were pretty much 15 days of Tet (kind of like 12 days of Christmas).

My Tet adventures included:
- Seeing where my mom use to live, her old neighborhood, etc. It was really something!
- Seeing my grandparents' graves. A bit chilling, but I know it meant a lot to my mama.
- Walking through my uncle's orchard/garden filled with pomelo trees, jackfruit trees, and lots of other fruit I only know how to say in Vietnamese.
- Observing Vietnamese Buddhist ceremonies that included leaving food out for spirits and prayer at 5am EVERYDAY!
- Hung out with Liz in HCMC, Mui Ne and Nha Trang (where we got stung by HUNDREDS of small jellyfish while snorkeling).

(This is a really uninteresting post because it is a list... sorry!)

p.p.s. if you respond to any of these comments, will you just do it in gchat conversation form? why is blogger so MENTALLY CHALLENGED and not send email updates when new things get posted like a SMART blog website would do? gosh.
